Yes, galas are usually after the competition, but sometimes the club hosting the event will have an opening gala. :wink:

But there aren't the same restrictions as in FS. Bravo!

You don't have to be in the top 5 to do a gala! :vo:

I really like watching/doing galas because of the dance component! sunny

For routines, you only have 1min30sec to get all of your elements done. Oh my poor head!

Sometimes, a routine can feel like, "Balance... pivot... leap... leap... slow turn... walk-over... leap... balance...". bla-bla-bla

So, galas are nice, because it's easier to be expressive. Bravo!

Bad news for our RG:

Bulgaria's Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team Coach Resigns

The senior coach of the Bulgarian national team of rhythmic gymnastics Lili Ignatova has resigned from her post on Thursday.

"My resignation is real and my contract is suspended," Ignatova said at a press conference for the media.

"I resigned not because I am afraid and I desert my post, but because I did not have another choice," she added.

She explained her move with the fact that Bulgaria might not have made it to the world championship. She also mentioned that two of the girls from the team refused to be coached by Ignatova.

They say that these 2 girls who refused to work with Lili, train in the club of another ex-gymnast, who is...erm, let's say she is not in very good relations with Lili. :disap:

I just wanted to tell you that I mentioned Andreea Raducan once on MSN. It is the girl who had problems with the golden medal. And it was taken away from her Sad

...because she took a pill for fever and caughing (at the doctor's recommandation) and it had an 'illegal' substance in it.

I felt so bad. It wasn't her fault. She was a child, working-hard and somebody ruined it for her. Everybody sympathized with her. And the doctor was found guilty, but nobody could do a thing. Remember? saaad

And Marina posted 2 videos..maybe she can post again.

I like your talks but too bad I come here rarely... Rolling Eyes
