It was definitely just one year. :kataus: It was a very odd experience! Where I was living at the time, the storm was quite bad, and most of the buildings at the university were without heat or running water-- in January! That was why they forced us to leave town after a few days, but we had to wait because at first the roads were not clear and there were electric lines all over the street, so travel was impossible. Shocked

It was a little bit adventurous, I must say. :queen:

But that was not normal, most of the time it looked like this

Or like this (in the winter)

I loved living in Canada. If I could go back, I would in a second. Cold winters What a Face and all. Very Happy

I love this photos...the first has amazing colours. It's so great to watch and imagine the real scenery and the second one...well....beacuse of the snow. Hehe..Can't help it. I like it too much Razz

Dear Maria, I'm sure it would be very hard for you to visit Canada and Russia during winter. It's a huge difference... affraid

As for winters in Russia. Ohhh.....I dream about them. Last year, when it started snowing in my town, for a few seconds I felt it's Moscow. It was a shocking, amazing experience. Never happend to me before. I can imagine but never actually feel it right. And that time was absolutely magical. :stari: I won't forget that never, maybe only after I see real winters in Moscow....

Thanks for the photos. They are amazing. I can see why you like Lyon so much :stari: You do have soooo many reasons to love it.
Very beautiful cards. zvet You very very nice to take your time to scan them and post them. zvet

Have a nice day,
Alex

I saw a documentary about Moscow and I saw the Red Square again...and streets. Awww...It so weird, the town atracts me so much and I can't really explain why, I don't have rational arguments. And also St. Petersburg..Ohh. It has a strange effect on me. :stari:
