Oh I'm so sad he'll become russian... But maybe it's better for him, because here, he couldn't find good partner.

For Serena:
Jerome Blanchard is a french skater. He skates in pair's category but last year he didn't do any international competition.

his last partner was russian but the russian federation didn't want she took the french nationality because of a very old story with the french federation who didn't want to let go an unknown french skater to Israel if i remember well. And he couldn't find any french partner...

Yes, me too. I hope his russian career will be great. It will be difficult I think, he doesn't speak the language I guess, and Russia have some new pairs, so wait and see...

Yes Maria, it was really difficult for him to find a new partner in France. You know, we don't have a lot of pairs here, only 2. There isn't a lot of skaters who practice pairs here. And Jerome's level was pretty high, so he didn't find girl who had a very good level like him. Only this russian girl (Rinata Araslanova), but as Nolwenn said, there were problems with her nationality.

Oh, look ! His new partner's name is Valeria ! Hehe... :wink:

Talking of the new season....i can't wait to know if Albena and Maxim will go on for another year. All news are so confusing. Somewhere i read they will continue, and others say they won't. scratch

..but from all of their interviews and shows they've been in ,i kind of think they will stay. They keep saying they have the phisical strengt to continue, and that they miss competing..uhhhh i don't know cat

Perhaps it´s difficulf for the french fed to accept the fact, but nowadays we live in a global world,so perhaps they will think twice!
In my country we have seen lots of wonderful sportsmen leave for money shocked

yes but the problem wth his last partner and the russian federation was because the french federation some years ago didn't want to let go an unknown french skater to another country. And here Jerome is a qite famous skater so if they didn't want to let go an unknown one, why will they accept for him?
I think it's totally stupide but sometimes the french federation is totally stupide!!!
