I was critical of Daniel Craig before I saw him in this movie, but he blew away all of my previous assertions when I finally saw it. He IS James Bond. By far the best of 2007 (so far). Viggo Mortensen, Vincent Cassel, Armin-Mueller Stahl, Naomi Watts and the rest of the cast are excellent in this. I can't say there are any real faults in this film but it is very dark and violent and that is expected. It's based around the Vory V Zakone "Thieves in law" which is essentially the Russian mob. There is a lot of graphic gory realistic violence in this so don't expect stylized Matrix style fighting. ... TV, movies, books..
