World Junior Championship 2008 in Sofia

The Bulgarian Skating Federation is hosting the World Junior Figure skating championship 2008. It will be in Sofia (25/2-02/3) and the federation is now looking for volunteers who are willing to spend a few days in Sofia during the championship. Albena mentioned this several times i different interviews. She and the other people in the federation will be very greatfull if there are some people who want to help. I remembered Albena once said that they would retire after 2007 World Champions. Is it really ture or do they change their mind now? I hope that they can continue to compete internationally and be able to win gold medal at 2010 Winter Olympics. However, if they feel very tired and want to enjoy life soon, I will be supportive too.

Albena and Maxim will organize a show in Sofia on 4th of February They invited Masha and Lesha Capellini/Lanotte who will come for sure (as I know ) Khokhlova and Novitsky were invited too, but Jana had some problems with injury and they won't come. There will be many Bulgarian skaters too ! They will perform the Libertango wit Vasko Vasilev (the Bulgarian violinist who was with them on the show in Japan). It will be a great show! Our TV will show a report (huh, I hope I'll be there ...

Ok I can't wait for it, even if I bet that Val is more impatient than me !!! So, in Ice dancing, there will be for sure : Albena & Maxim Isa & Olivier Oksana & Maxim Tanith & Ben 2 other pairs... OK, here I am. I just open the thread now, I'm too tired to write more , but if the thread is open, I will do his report, for sure you know. For now, I can just tell that I'm still under the spell . I saw so many things. It starts at 16.00 and ended at 23.00 !!! Figure skating during 7 hours , it was fab !!! 7 hours, for only 11.50 Euros, it's cheap. And I was at the 1st rank ! So... I have to stop now, but I'll tell you everything !!!

Hola, dear girls! I have been turning this on my mind since the competition! Albie and Max were onlt 3rd in the Free!! I don't agree! Their routine was the most difficult one, :sad1:so I don't understand the judges reasoning! I know that their scores were very good, but they were only 3rd...and I didn't notice any mistakes! Sooooo...what do you think, girls ?
