I agree with You, Viki! Fede and Massimo on the podium that would be great ! And it would be a dancing pair that deserves it!
I want the same Fede and Massimo deserve a medal, maybe not this year, it will be very difficult if everyone skate clear tonight. Also Sinead&John I love these guys! For me, their OD is in the top 3 of the best performances yesterday! So much passion, elegance Unfortunately I don't think they can't improve their ranking, the concurrence is so strong and most of the couples are so young yet But I miss so much Albie and Max it's not the same without them

And I'm more than really happy for Dube/Davison !!! They are almost the only North-American skaters that I like, and they are so lovely Thy will be a very good pair, maybe on the Olympic podium in Vancouver.
About dance... I'm really happy for Isabelle & Olivier. Maybe they wil be world champions, finally It would be great ! I wish them good luck, I hope they will skate a great FD !
Awww... you are definitely my friend, Marina!!! mdr! I very much have my fingers crossed for Jess & Bryce for the Olympics. They've improved SO much this season that I think a medal there is possible.
As for dance... Erm... I watched the ODs this morning. No one really wowed me. Isabelle and Olivier were great, but the program didn't move me. Definitely the best of the night technically, though!! But I was really surprised by how much I liked Yana and Sergei!!! Maybe that OD isn't as hard or as polished... but they absolutely put everything into it!!! And I really, really liked that about them. As for Tessa and Scott, their OD was too slow and not as powerful as usual. Weird performance for them. It looked like they wanted it too badly.

And Delobel / Schoenfelder ?? Somehow I have the impression the title will be given to them without fight and as a "present" (Sorry for all fans of that dancing couple, but thatīs only my personal meaning!)...
Personally, I cannot possibly agree with this statement. In my opinion, Isa and Olivier have been BRILLIANT for season after season with very little reward. Of course, they don't have the passion of a couple like Albena and Maxim. (Such things are not possible afterall!! hehe.) Still, they have a style that I really appreciate, because it's so different and unique. Their programs aren't quite at the emotional level that I'd like, but they very-very-very good anyways! But obviously, this is all a matter of opinion. And definitely not a critism of you for not liking them. Just wanted to add in my 2 cents.

So... if they are world champions today, they deserve it, especially if they don't make mistakes. They fighted as hard as Albie and Max. To me, Isabelle & Olivier are the most courageous skaters with Albena & Maxim. They believe in them and in a medal, so they stayed in competitions world, even if it was very very hard and often unfair.

IF I was a referee, that's the ranking as it should be: 1 Jana KHOKHLOVA / Sergei NOVITSKI 2 Federica FAIELLA / Massimo SCALI ITA 201.91 3 Sinead KERR / John KERR GBR 186.94 4 Isabelle DELOBEL / Olivier SCHOENFELDER FRA 212.94 5 Nathalie PECHALAT / Fabian BOURZAT FRA 190.51

Congrats to dance medalists.Whew it was hard and interesting.
Now i can cool off .I guess it was my bad Capricorn side that was writing yesterday .On a happy note i am glad for Isa and Olivier. After all they were the last from their league ,the most expirience but they still had to fight because all those young couples are getting beter and better .It was their chance , their day and i cry with them on the podium .
Happy for Tessa and Scot , and after watching Jana and Sergey ,Federica and Massimo ,Sinead and John ,Ben and Tanith ,Natalie and Fabian i wished to give them all a medal.

I was a bit emotional when I wrote my previous post and I was meaning only the ranking from the FD and partially from the OD, because I didn't watch all the couples, for example I missed Isa and Olivier's OD, I suppose it was very good, but I didn't see it . So, from all the performances I saw, I would definetely put Sinead/John and Fede/Massimo in top 3. Nathalie and Fabian also deserve a higher ranking, but... I like them more and more everytime I watch them. As for Isa and Olivier - yes, they are good, but somehow they can't touch me they don't make me hold my breath as Albie and Max, the Kerrs do...

I actually thought that the judges had the dance podium right yesterday!!! Isabelle and Olivier were phenomenal. I think this mostly because I wasn't judging their dance as a love story. I know it's supposed to be one, but they really do not have that connection. However, I thought the program had a nice energy and they were presenting more to the audience than I'd seen them do in the past. Technically it was suburb as well, everything was just so smooth!!! I thought that their gold was 100% fair. They did 3 clean, nice dances and this was a good competition for them.
Tessa and Scott were... WOW. Do they ever do a romantic program well!!! The entire thing was just amaziiiiiing. Loved the choreography. Loved the music. Loved their chemistry. I've neven been a huge fan of theirs... but c'mon that was fabulous!!!
Heeeee!!! I majorly loved Yana and Sergei. They just have so much energy and fire! Still... if you look at the dance from the technical perspective, they are a bit sloppy at times and their footwork was nowhere near as fast or as polished as the top 2 teams. Obviously, they are going to get better at that. Fantastic tricks, though. Her flexiblity is really wonderful!!!
Tanith and Ben... hohum hohum. I was bored. Please tell me that I was not to only one!!! I don't feel that they have anything new to offer ice dance.
Fede and Massi!!! Totally robbed!! Behind Tanith and Ben??? Are you kidding me? They were amaziiiiiiiing!!!!! I was just so impressed with them. They improved SO much this year! Pffft they should have been 4th.

Ehh...Jeffrey Buttle was great! But i'm really sad cause of Tomas and Stephan ! But they made so many mistakes... A little bit sorry for Brian...He did almost everything, his programm was fantastic ! So familiar sound of Requiem... The battles are over ! So only gala is left!
